Reining Horse Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National Reining Horse Youth Association (NRHyA) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have been NRHyA members for at least 2 years and are interested in attending a 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade/technical school in any state.

Applicants must submit a 2page essay on how they have been affected by their involvement with reining and how they will help NRHA and NRHyA fulfill their mission of promoting the reining horse.

Selection is based on that essay (20%), academics (25%), reining involvement (15%), references (10%), and financial need (30%).
