Reining Horse Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National Reining Horse Youth Association (NRHyA) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have been NRHyA members for at least 2 years and are interested in attending a 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade/technical school in any state.
  • Applicants must submit a 2page essay on how they have been affected by their involvement with reining and how they will help NRHA and NRHyA fulfill their mission of promoting the reining horse.
  • Selection is based on that essay (20%), academics (25%), reining involvement (15%), references (10%), and financial need (30%).
