Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) current customers and those within the past 2 years of Rent-A-Center, Get It Now!, Home Choice, Acceptance Now, and Rent-A-Center franchise locations; 2) spouses and dependent children of customers; 3) dependent children under 25 years of age of employees of those firms who have been employed for at least 1 year; and 4) dependent children under 25 years of age of current Rent-A-Center franchise owners.
  • Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who are enrolled or planning to enroll full time at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in the United States or Puerto Rico.
  • They must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, and unusual personal or family circumstances; financial need is not considered.
