Resource Conservation District Conservation Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in San Diego County, California who are interested in majoring in agriculture or conservation at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • Applicants must 1) be residents within the Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego County's sphere of influence; 2) have successfully completed 3 years of study at an accredited high school; 3) be nearing completion of their fourth year in high school; 4) have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and 5) expect or have received a "notice of intent" to enroll in undergraduate courses related to conservation or agriculture (including environmental science, natural resources, biology, and natural sciences).
  • Selection is based on academics (30%), the essay (25%), student activities (25%), letters of recommendation (10%), and quality of the application (10%).
