The Richard L. Resurreccion Public Safety Scholarship supports Phi Theta Kappa members who are involved in public safety or service while enrolled in a regionally accredited associate degree public safety program. Students who are attending a 2-year college and are seeking an associate degree in public safety are welcome to apply. Pre-major or certificate students are not eligible to apply.

  • Phi Theta Kappa member

  • Completed 50% of required coursework at a 2year college

  • Seeking an associate degree in public safety (including criminal justice, fire science, fire technology, emergency medical services, public safety administration, emergency management, or homeland security)
