The Riehl Science Scholarship is available to students who are residents or have graduated from a public or private high school in the 21 counties in central Georgia served by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia. Students seeking their first bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, or geology are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Resident of or graduating high school senior of a public or private high school in Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Butts, Coffee, Crawford, Dodge, Houston, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Laurens, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Spalding, Taylor, Twiggs, Upson, or Wilkinson counties in Georgia
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in the field of chemistry, biology, physics, or geology
  • Pursuing a first undergraduate degree
  • High school coursework includes advanced science and math courses with no grade lower than a B in any math or science courses Preference is given to students with financial need.
