RILBMDA Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to families of employees of member companies of the Rhode Island Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association (RILBMDA) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to employees and their families (children, grandchildren, spouses) of companies that are retail or associate members of the RILBMDA. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in a college or technical school in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in high school or college.
  • Selection is based on an essay on their career and scholastic ambitions (50%), academics (25%), activities (15%), and letters of recommendation (10%).
