The R.I.S.E. Nursing Scholarship is available to residents of Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Winnebago counties in Illinois who have a nursing aid certificate and are employed. Students who are seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in a medical field, such as nursing, are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students who work as CNAs at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford, Illinois, or have experience working with seniors or in long-term care facilities.
