Robert Austin Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in New England who are tall and interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont who are planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • Men must be taller than 6'2" and women must be taller than 5'10".
  • Selection is based on academic record and achievements, SAT and/or ACT scores, involvement in clubs and activities outside and within the school community, personal achievements, 2 letters of recommendation, and a 1page essay on "What Being Tall Means to Me." Semifinalists are interviewed.
