The Robert B. Taylor Scholarship awards need-based scholarships to graduating seniors or graduated from a high school in Bexar or surrounding counties in Texas. Students who are studying for a degree in the vocational field, such as automotive, hospitality, or culinary arts, or the field of medicine, such as nursing, premed, or physician assistant, are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students attending one of the Alamo Community Colleges.

Requirements
  • Resident of Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, or Wilson counties, Texas
  • High school senior, community college student, college freshman, sophomore, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Graduating or graduated from a high school in Bexar or surrounding counties (Atascosa, Bandera, Blanco, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, and Wilson)
  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree, full or parttime
  • Studying a vocational or medical field such as automotive, hospitality, culinary arts, nursing, premed, or physician assistant
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students attending one of the Alamo Community Colleges.
