Rock Island Arsenal Welcome Club Merit Scholarship provides financial assistance to children of military and civilian personnel affiliated with Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently working on an associate, bachelor's, or specialized technical degree at an accredited college, university, or trade school in any state.

Applicants must be a dependent of a parent or guardian in 1 of the following categories: 1) active duty military, Reserve component, or National Guard assigned to Rock Island Arsenal; 2) Department of the Army or Department of Defense civilian employed at Rock Island Arsenal or retired from the facility; 3) retired or deceased active duty military member who is or was associated the Rock Island Arsenal; or 4) member of the Rock Island Arsenal Welcome Club or a volunteer in a Rock Island Arsenal philanthropic organization.

Selection is based on merit.
