The Ronald Clark McDaniel Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from public high schools in Battle Creek, Michigan. Students seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in education or teaching are eligible to apply. U.S. citizen, asylumseeker or asylee, conditional permanent resident, permanent resident, or refugee

Participate in a minimum of one sport for at least two years during high school and community service Preference is given to students who have participated in at least one varsity sport and who demonstrate financial need.
