Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Michigan who have served on active duty in the U.S. armed forces (including Reserves and National Guard) for at least 6 continuous months and are either currently serving in the armed forces or have received a separation from active duty under honorable conditions.
  • Applicants must be currently accepted to and/or enrolled at a 2 or 4-year accredited college, university, or trade/technical school in Michigan.
  • They must be enrolled at least halftime and have a cumulative high school or undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, community service, potential to succeed in an academic environment, financial need, and military service record.
