Ross N. Pangere Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to blind students working on an undergraduate or graduate degrees in business-related fields.

Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students working on a degree in business, computer science, or information technology.

Applicants must submit verification of legal blindness in both eyes; SAT, ACT, GMAT, or similar scores; information on extracurricular activities (including involvement in the American Council of the Blind); employment record; and a 500word autobiographical sketch that includes their personal goals, strengths, weaknesses, hobbies, honors, achievements, and reasons for the choice of field or courses of study.

A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher is generally required.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

The scholarship winner is expected to be present at the council's annual national convention; the council will cover all reasonable costs connected with convention attendance.
