Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate students enrolled in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field at an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Applicants must submit a 2page description of a reactor physics-related research project in which they have been involved and how it could potentially be tied to the accomplishments of the namesake of this program.
  • They must be members of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and sponsored by the faculty adviser of an ANS student chapter or an individual ANS member, but they may be citizens of any country.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic achievement, and letters of recommendation.
