The S-STEM Scholarship Program is available to full-time students at Appalachian State University who demonstrate financial need and are seeking a degree in chemistry, computer science, geology, applied mathematics, or physics (excluding education degrees in those fields). The program supports academically talented undergraduates, transfer students, graduate students, and juniors or seniors committing to pursue graduate study in an eligible major. Recipients are selected for their academic potential and interest in collaborative, interdisciplinary research involving data science.
