Sallie Scudder Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school seniors who are members of Mu Alpha Theta (a mathematics honor society) and have participated in mathematics competitions and other activities.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors who are members of Mu Alpha Theta.
  • Applicants must have participated successfully in local, regional, and national mathematics competitions.
  • They may also submit an essay on other extracurricular and volunteer activities or clubs have participated in outside of Mu Alpha Theta.
  • Selection is based on those essays, service to their local Mu Alpha Theta chapter, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, and 2 letters of recommendation.
  • Financial need is not considered.
