About the Scholarship

The San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists Scholarship program is available to graduating high school seniors, or current college students, who live in Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina or Wilson counties, Texas. Applicants can live in any county in the U.S. if they attend a college or university in San Antonio, Texas. Students pursuing a career in journalism or the communications industry (broadcast, print, advertising, public relations, photojournalism, graphic arts, or online journalism) are encouraged to apply.
