Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are working on an undergraduate degree at a San Francisco-area college or university in a transportation-related field (e.g., transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics).
  • Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be interested in a career in transportation.
  • They must submit a 500word statement about their career goals after graduation and why they think they should receive the scholarship award; the essay must address the issue of leadership, its importance in a transportation career, and their leadership achievements.
  • Minority women are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Selection is based on transportation involvement and goals, job skills, and academic record; financial need is not considered.
