Sara Metcalf Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Zonta International's Z Clubs and Golden Z Clubs in designated states who are interested in returning to college in any state to study a field related to social policy-making, government, or volunteer organizations.

Requirements
  • This program is open to women who live in Zonta International's District 10 (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas) and have been members for at least 2 years of its Z Club (for high school students) or Golden Z Club (for college students).
  • Applicants must be interested in preparing for a career in social policymaking, government, or volunteer organizations.
  • Selection is based on school service activities (20%), community service activities (20%), international service activities (20%), effectiveness of service work (20%), and goals for use of the scholarship (20%).
