The SDIAS Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for AVID Students is available to graduating high school seniors from San Diego County, California who have participated in the AVID college readiness program. First-generation college students who will be seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in a STEM field or any of the social sciences are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who participate in extracurricular activities, community service, or work.
