Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens who are currently serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy or Naval Reserve, including Full-Time Support (FTS), Selected Reserves (SELRES), and Navy Reservists on active duty, except for those on active duty for training (ACDUTRA).

Applicants must be high school graduates (or GED recipients) who are able to complete the requirements for a baccalaureate degree in 36 months or less.

They may apply to the core program or a target group option.

The core program allows participants the most flexibility in selecting majors and requesting schools to attend.

When they complete their degree requirements, they must be younger than 31 years of age.

Within the past 3 years, they must have taken the SAT (and achieved scores of at least 500 on the mathematics section and 500 on the evidencebased reading and writing or critical reading section) or the ACT (and achieved a score of at least 21 on the mathematics portion and 20 on the English portion).

After commissioning, 5 years of active service are required.
