SEG Foundation/Apache Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who are interested in studying applied geophysics or a related field at a college in a country where the Apache Corporation has oil operations.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) high school students planning to enter college in the fall, and 2) undergraduate or graduate students whose grades are above average.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college or university in countries where Apache operates (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Egypt, United Kingdom, or the United States).
  • They must be working on or planning to work on a degree directed toward a career in applied geophysics or a closelyrelated field (e.g., earth or environmental sciences, geology, geoscience, or physics).
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
