About the Scholarship

The Shannon Burwash Award for Leadership and Excellence in Equine, Agri-Business and or Agricultural Studies is open to students entering their third or higher year at a postsecondary institution in Canada. Students seeking a degree in fields of study that can be applied to horses or the horse industry are encouraged to apply. Those with a rural background and/or extensive participation in the horse industry who plan to pursue an equine-oriented career receive special consideration.
