Shaver-Hitchings Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Shaver-Hitchings Scholarship is available to graduate students, physician's assistants, or medical students who are residents of Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake County, North Carolina, who have worked as a volunteer, to help others with alcoholism, drug abuse, and addictive disorder treatment or with preventive education on the subject of addiction. Students seeking a graduate or medical degree in physician assistant or medical are eligible to apply.
