The Sheila Morris Luna Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are female residents of northern New Mexico. For undergraduate applicants only, preference is given to nontraditional students, first-generation college students, students with high financial need, and those attending a higher education institution in New Mexico.

  • Minimum 3.25 GPA
  • Resident of Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, or Taos counties, New Mexico
  • High school senior attending school in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, or Taos counties, New Mexico; **OR**
  • Current undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Studying for a degree in STEM
  • Attending or planning to attend a 4year college or university

  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities
