The Shirley Shu-Mei Tang Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Students who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are actively involved in promoting Asian cultural awareness, such as those residing in the Asian/Asian American Student Defined Residential Community, participating in the Asian American Student Association, or engaging in UALRC activities.
