The Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students who are currently or formerly employed, or the child of a current or former employee of an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant. Students who are active in community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian Americans, immigrants, gays and lesbians, and/or other progressive causes are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Graduating high school senior or current undergraduate college student
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student
  • Currently/formerly employed, or child of a current or former employee at an Asianowned or Asian cuisine restaurant
  • Participate in community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian Americans, immigrants, gays and lesbians, and/or other progressive causes
  • Any ethnic heritage
