The Sister Thea Bowman Black Catholic Scholarship provides financial assistance to African American high school seniors and current college freshmen and sophomores who attend or plan to attend one of the 9 designated Catholic colleges. Students who demonstrate merit trhough academic strength and good character are welcome to apply.

Attending or planning to attend Assumption University, Boston College, Catholic University of America, Carlow University, College of the Holy Cross, DePaul University, Duquesne University, Loyola University of Chicago, or Saint Vincent College

Participation in community service or extracurricular activities
