Sitka Tribe of Alaska Higher Education Scholarship provides financial assistance to enrolled members of the Sitka Tribe of Alaska who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to enrolled members of the Sitka Tribe of Alaska as documented by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
  • Members of other federallyrecognized tribes may also be eligible if funds are available.
  • Applicants must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited 2-year college (credits must be transferable to a 4-year school) or a 4-year college or university in any state.
  • They must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Priority is given to eligible Sitka Tribe of Alaska students who have met the minimum requirements in the following order: 1) college seniors; 2) college juniors; 3) college sophomores; 4) entering freshmen; 5) graduate students (provided funds are available), and 6) other qualified applicants (provided funds are available).
