The SME Education Foundation Family Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college undergraduates who are children, dependents, or descendants of members of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Students who demonstrate academic excellence and an interest in manufacturing engineering or related technology are welcome to apply.

Child, dependent, or grandchild of a Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) member

Minimum 3.00 GPA

Minimum SAT composite score of 1000 or minimum ACT composite score of 21

Resident of the U.S. or Canada

High school senior or undergraduate student

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Studying in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, engineering technology, or a related field

Fulltime student

Attending a school in the U.S. or Canada

U.S. or Canadian citizen
