Requirements
  • This competition is open to junior members up to 26 years of age the SMDM. Applicants must submit an essay of 750 to 1,000 on a topic that changes annually but relates to the Pilgrims; recently, students were asked to write on the hardships their ancestors endured during the establishment of Plymouth Colony.
  • They must be attending or planning to attend an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university.
  • They must also submit a paragraph explaining how being awarded this scholarship will help them attain their career goals.
