The Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors or graduates from the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber geographic area. Special consideration is given to students who pursued a vocational or career technical curriculum in high school and have overcome adversity.

  • Resident of Wayne County, Michigan
  • Graduating high school senior or high school graduate from the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber geographic area in Michigan
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning a career in business or technical field
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or work
  • Aged 22 or younger
  • Demonstrate academic achievement Preference is given to students who have pursued a vocational or career technical curriculum in high school and have overcome at least one of the following risk barriers: singleparent family, low-income household, foster child, physical handicap, substance abuse recovery, ex-offender, or teen parent.
