Southwest Idaho Section SWE Scholarship provides financial assistance to female high school seniors in Idaho planning to enter an engineering school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to women graduating from high schools in Idaho and planning to attend an ABET-accredited 4- or 5-year engineering program in any state.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • They must also submit transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and a letter of recommendation from a high school science or mathematics teacher.
  • Selection is based on the essay, academic accomplishments (especially in science and mathematics), extracurricular accomplishments, and the letter of recommendation.
  • Financial need is not considered.
