Requirements

This program is open to the surviving spouses of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who were serving under a U.S. military Special Operations command or directly supporting a Special Operations mission and were killed after September 11, 2001.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college or technical school or in a professional licensure or certification program.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on the essay, merit, academic potential, and financial need.
