Special Ops Survivors Education and Career Advancement Scholarship provide financial assistance for college to the spouses of Special Operations military personnel killed in the line of duty after September 11, 2001.

Requirements

This program is open to the surviving spouses of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who were serving under a U.S. military Special Operations command or directly supporting a Special Operations mission and were killed after September 11, 2001.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college or technical school or in a professional licensure or certification program.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on the essay, merit, academic potential, and financial need.
