Spouses' of JBMDL Organization Scholarship provides financial assistance for study at a college or graduate school in any state too dependent children and spouses of military personnel attached to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) in New Jersey.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors and continuing college students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are working on or planning to work on an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree at an accredited college, university, vocational/technical school, or fine arts institute in any state.

Applicants must be the dependent child or spouse of 1) an activeduty, Reserve, or National Guard military member assigned to JBMDL; or 2) a retired or deceased military member living within a 50-mile radius of JBMDL. The student must possess a current valid military Identification Card and live within a 50-mile radius of JBMDL. Along with their application, they must submit 1) an essay of 350 to 500 words on a significant moment, achievement, or dilemma they have faced and its impact on their personal and/or ethical development; and 2) a 200-word essay on what made them select the school to which they plan to attend.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
