The Staff Sergeant Joshua Throckmorton Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or graduates from Battle Creek Public Schools in Battle Creek, Michigan. Students who demonstrate merit through leadership, patriotism, integrity, being well-rounded, and being a team player are welcome to apply. Special consideration may be given to graduating high school seniors who have played football for a minimum of two full seasons throughout their high school career, or applicants seeking a degree or certificate in the culinary arts.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Graduating high school senior or graduate from Battle Creek Public Schools in Battle Creek, Michigan

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor’s degree

U.S. citizen, permanent resident, conditional permanent resident, refugee, or asylum granted

Demonstrate merit through leadership, patriotism, integrity, being wellrounded, and being a team player Preference may be given to graduating high school seniors who have played football for a minimum of two full seasons throughout their high school career, or applicants seeking a degree or certificate in the culinary arts.
