State Tuition Assistance of the Texas National Guard Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to members of the Texas National Guard.

Requirements
  • This program is open to Texas residents who are active, drilling members of the Texas National Guard, the Texas Air Guard, or the State Guard in enlisted pay grades E-1 through E-9, officers 0-1 through O-5, or warrant officers W-1 through W-3.
  • Applicants may be undergraduate or graduate students attending or planning to attend a public or private college or university in Texas.
  • They may qualify for a high need exemption if they meet 1 of the following requirements: nonscholarship ROTC cadet, in the first year of undergraduate school with fewer than 30 hours of credit toward an associate or bachelor's degree, not eligible for any other financial aid, or enrolled at a private institution.
