About the Scholarship

The Stokes Undergraduate Scholarship provides tuition support and work experience to high school seniors and college students who would be interested in working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) after graduation from college. Students who demonstrate academic strength, financial need, and genuine interest in contributing to CIA's mission are welcome to apply. Recipients must be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC area and work at least one (preferably two) 90-day tours at the CIA.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Attending or planning to attend a 4year college or university
  • U.S. citizen
  • Participation in leadership or work
  • Aged 18 or older
  • Proficiency in a foreign language
  • Work at least one or two 90day internship sessions at CIA
  • Maximum Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of less than $120,000
