Student Aid Fund for Non-registrants Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduate school to men who are ineligible to receive government grants and loans because they have declined to register with the U.S. Selective Service System for reasons of Christian conscience.

Requirements
  • Eligible to receive assistance from this fund are students who have declined to register with the U.S. Selective Service because of their Christian conscience.
  • They must be either 1) attending a Mennonite Church USA college or seminary; or 2) attending a congregation of Mennonite Church USA and enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies in otherthan-Mennonite institutions.
  • The home congregations of Mennonite nonregistrants are invited to contribute to the fund; students are expected to be an integral part of the communication process with their congregations.
