The Sue Shane Sautermeister Scholarship is open to members of Kappa Alpha Theta who live or attend school in designated states. Members pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in education are encouraged to apply. If no members from those states apply, the award is available to members pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in education at a university that is a member of the Big Ten Conference. If no members from a Big Ten Conference school apply, the award is available to any member of Kappa Alpha Theta at any chapter pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in any field.

  • Member or alum of Kappa Alpha Theta at any college or university in Indiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, or Texas, **OR**
  • Resident of Indiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, or Texas and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at a chapter in any state
