Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are single mothers and residents of the greater Los Angeles County area, including Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.
  • Applicants must have become single parents and heads of the household following the dissolution of an abusive or emotionally traumatic relationship.
  • They must be enrolled in college to learn marketable skills that will lead to economic selfsufficiency.
  • Selection is based on the ability to articulate a clear statement of goals, the likelihood of goal attainment, demonstration of personal courage and commitment, and financial need.
