Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas and planning to attend college in any state.
  • Applicants must submit 1) a cover letter briefly explaining their future plans and how the skills they have learned in a journalism class have prepared them; 2) a current resume; 3) letters of recommendation from their journalism adviser and 1 other professional reference, and 4) hyperlinks to 5 examples of journalistic work published during their scholastic career.
