About the Scholarship

The Tanzie Camille McCarty Brown Annual Scholarship is available to students at Mississippi State University College of Education who are residents of Mississippi. Students seeking a bachelor's degree in special education are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to first-generation college students, those with financial need, those who participate in TRIO programs or equivalent programs for low-income students, or those expressing a desire to teach in the poorest and most critical needs areas of Mississippi.
