About the Scholarship

The Cmolik Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or recent graduates living in British Columbia, Canada who have experienced hardship or adversity. Students who do not qualify for the BC Tuition Waiver Program and demonstrate financial need are eligible to be nominated by their school principal. Recipients of this award agree to 'pay it forward' to a non-related person during their lifetime.

Requirements
  • Resident of British Columbia and has resided in Canada for at least seven years
  • High school senior or recent graduate
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities
  • Have overcome adversity
  • Nomination/recommendation only
  • Maximum family income of $80,000
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to those who have significantly contributed to their school, family and/or community.
