The Teacher Pipeline Scholarship is available to full-time students enrolled in a four-year college or university. The scholarship is merit-based and geared towards students interested in pursuing a career in K-12 education. Special consideration is given to first-year students and those who have participated in the Center for Black Educator Development's Freedom Schools Literacy Academy and/or Liberation Academy. Additionally, students who are majoring in education, teaching, or related fields of study are also given priority.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.70 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior, college freshman, sophomore, or junior
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning to pursue a career in K12 education
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or U.S. national Preference is given to incoming firstyear students, as well as to those who have participated in the Center for Black Educator Development's Freedom Schools Literacy Academy and/or Liberation Academy. Additionally, students majoring in education, teaching, or related fields of study are also given priority.
