Telecom Management Services Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to high school seniors who live in rural areas of the United States, especially in designated areas of Alabama, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who receive local telecommunications service from a current member of NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association that serves as a sponsor; the program includes a scholarship reserved for students who are customers of 1) Ardmore Telephone in Giles and Lincoln counties in Tennessee and Limestone and Madison counties in Alabama; or 2) West Kentucky and Tennessee Telecommunications Cooperative (WK&T) in western Kentucky and western Tennessee.

Applicants must live in a rural area and be interested in returning to rural America following graduation.

They must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and have been accepted by an accredited 2 or 4-year college, university, or vocational/technical school.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

U.S. citizenship is required.
