Tennessee Baptist Foundation College and Medical Scholarship provide financial assistance to members of Southern Baptist churches in Tennessee who are attending college in any state to work on an undergraduate degree in any field or a doctoral degree in designated medical fields.

Requirements

This program is open to members of churches cooperating with the Tennessee Baptist Convention who have been residents of Tennessee for at least 1 year prior to applying.

Applicants who are entering college for the first time must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

They must be working full time on either 1) an undergraduate degree in any field at an accredited college or university in any state; or 2) a doctoral degree at an accredited dental, medical, or pharmacy school in any state.

Their household income must be less than $100,000 per year (or $125,000 for families with 2 children in college or $150,000 for families with 3 children in college).

Selection is based on academic performance, financial need, and involvement in church and Baptist collegiate ministries.
