Tennessee WMU General Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of Baptist churches in Tennessee who have been active in Baptist mission programs and are interested in attending college in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students who are members and active participants in a Tennessee Baptist church and enrolled or planning to enroll full-time as undergraduates at a college or university in the state.
  • Applicants must show evidence of participation in Tennessee Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) missions programs, Baptist collegiate ministries, or Tennessee Baptist missions/ministry.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.6 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Preference is given to applicants who 1) are current missions volunteers; 2) are committed to fulltime career missions service, or 3) have plans to work in WMU on a professional level.
