TESC Academic Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependent children and spouses of military or civilian personnel who have an affiliation with Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB) in the Box Elder/Rapid City area of South Dakota and are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree at a school in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to dependent children and non-military spouses of 1) active-duty U.S. military members assigned or attached to EAFB; 2) active-duty Air National Guard or Reserve members assigned or attached to EAFB; 3) retired U.S. military members who reside in the EAFB area; 4) active-duty U.S. military members serving in a remote assignment whose dependent resides in the EAFB area; 5) civil service members working at EAFB who holds a valid government ID card, or 6) deceased military members whose surviving dependent resides in the EAFB area.

Applicants must be high school seniors or students working full or parttime on an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree at a college, university, or community college in any state.

Selection is based on the essay, academic achievement, work experience, community and volunteer activities, leadership roles, special interests and hobbies, and personal educational goals.
