Texas Business Professionals of America Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Texas who are members of Business Professionals of America (BPA) and planning to attend college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas and planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be paid state and national members of BPA, have participated in a BPA competition, and be nominated by their chapter adviser.
  • Selection is based on the application (20%); a letter of intent that includes how BPA has made a difference in their life (20%); a resume that includes educational career goals, work experience, BPA activities, community service, and honors and awards (20%); academic achievement (20%); and a letter of recommendation from someone other than the chapter adviser (20%).
  • The applicant whose score is highest receives the Mildred Woerndel Scholarship and the secondhighest receives the Vickie Thomas Scholarship.
